Firefighters found the body of a man inside a Fullerton home that caught fire Friday morning.

The fire was reported in a single-story home about 1:15 a.m., said Deputy Chief Adam Loeser with the Fullerton Fire Department.
Responding firefighters found the man’s body inside the home, which was located in the 800 block of El Dorado Drive, the Fullerton Police Department stated on Twitter.
The man’s identity was not immediately released.
A woman who lives near the home told KTLA the man was a good neighbor and a former schoolteacher.
“Really a wonderful man … He was very friendly,” the woman said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, but it did not appear to be suspicious, according to a Fullerton police sergeant who was at the scene.
KTLA’s Geoff Peters contributed to this report.
