Angelenos may see multiple military helicopters flying overhead Saturday as part of an urban-combat training session taking place in downtown Los Angeles, according to an Associated Press report.

Two to six military helicopters were expected to fly over the metro area at undisclosed dates and times through the following week, the AP reported.

The choppers were part of a two-week training exercise that began Friday and was scheduled to end Dec. 16.

Dozens of Marines were expected to also raid buildings and “dodge paintballs shot from modified M-15s” at several undisclosed locations in the area, the AP stated.

About 2,400 Marines and sailors from the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit were taking part in the exercise, which also took place in military bases in California, at a site outside Las Vegas, and another outside Flagstaff, Arizona.
