An elderly couple who had not been heard from since last week has been found safe and uninjured in Las Vegas, authorities said Monday.
Carl, 83, and Theresa Tarantino were last known to have been at their Laguna Woods home on Friday.
The married couple was described as having varying degrees of “cognitive issues” and did not own cellphones, according to a missing persons bulletin issued by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Saturday.
On Monday, the Tarantino’s were found safe and uninjured in Las Vegas, according to the Sheriff’s Department.
No further information was immediately available.
