Burbank police officials have reopened an off ramp to the 134 Freeway after a previously labeled suspicious package was deemed safe, authorities said.

The incident was reported about 3:20 p.m. in the 200 block of North Pass Avenue.

The package, which appeared to be a suitcase, was spotted at the entrance to the Spirit Works Center for Spiritual Living, Burbank Police Sgt. Derek Green told KTLA.

A bomb squad responded to the scene and a robot was sent in to examine the box, video from the scene showed.

The northbound Pass Avenue off ramp to the 134 Freeway was closed during the incident, but reopened about 6:30 p.m.

KTLA’s Nidia Becerra contributed to this story.
