One Dead in Collision Between Fire Camp Truck and Second Vehicle Near Agoura Hills

At least one person was killed and several other injured Friday evening when a vehicle carrying a group of camp firefighters collided with another vehicle on Mulholland Highway near Agoura Hills.

The crash occurred around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Mulholland Highway and Kanan Dume Road, according to Supervisor Ed Pickett with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

None of the firefighters were seriously injured, but a 70-year-old man in the other vehicle died in the crash, according to Patrick Kimball with California Highway Patrol.

Several other people in the second vehicle were also injured, Pickett said.
