LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Highway 38, near Angelus Oaks, will be shut down for at least a week and perhaps longer after a tanker overturned and spilled thousands of gallons of fuel on the road.

The tanker reportedly crashed on Highway 38 and Angeles Oakes in the San Bernardino National Forest around 9:30 a.m.

The driver of the tanker lost control causing the tractor and trailer to overturn.

The truck was carrying 10,000 gallons of fuel, 3,000 of which reportedly spilled onto the roadway.
