Police were asking for the public’s help Wednesday in identifying a man who left $8,000 in cash at a restaurant near Los Angeles International Airport.
The man had a morning meal at a restaurant on Century Boulevard on Dec. 19, 2015, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department.
When the man walked out of the restaurant, he left behind more than $8,000 in cash in the booth where he was sitting, the release stated.
Detectives were not releasing too much information so that when the man comes forward he can provide specific details to prove the money is his, police said.
