The attempted kidnapping occurred Tuesday just before noon as the 16-year-old was walking northbound on Bridlepath Drive near Foxborough Drive (map.)

The man, who was driving a dark green, four-door 90s model Toyota Camry, pulled over behind the teen, police said.

“I heard footsteps… like someone running,” the teenager, who wished to remain anonymous, told KTLA.

All of a sudden, the teenager said, the man grabbed her and pulled her toward him.

“He started touching me everywhere and was just making these weird noises and saying, ‘come on, come on’,” she said.

The teenager fought back and managed to get away. The attacker got back into his car and drove off.

He was described as a thin Black man, between 25 to 30 years old and about 6 feet tall.

Anyone with information was urged to call Fontana police at 909-356-8477 or 909-356-TIPS.
