Protesters gathered outside the steps of Santa Monica City Hall Friday demanding a change to a new law that says parents with children in the public and private school system can no longer claim personal and religious exemptions when deciding not to vaccinate their kids. SB 277, took effect Friday, also says unvaccinated students won’t be allowed to attend school. Kareen Wynter reports for the KTLA 5 News at 6 on July 1, 2016.
