Los Angeles Rams safety T.J. McDonald was arrested Tuesday in Woodland Hills on suspicion of driving under the influence, police said.

Officers were called to a traffic crash around 8:30 a.m. in the 22900 block of Gershwin Drive, according to Officer Lopez with the Los Angeles Police Department.

When they arrived, officers determined that McDonald had crashed into a parked car, Lopez said.

At the time, Lopez said the officers believed the 25-year-old was under the influence of something.

McDonald was taken into custody and it was later determined he was under the influence of something other than alcohol, according to Lopez.

McDonald posted $300 bail and was released, according to inmate booking records.

No other information was released.
