REDLANDS, Calif. (KTLA) — Officials were dealing with a new fire Friday, this time along the 10 Freeway in Redlands.
The fire was reported about 12:05 p.m. and quickly roared up a dry brush-covered hillside before crews gained control at Panorama Drive.
The eastbound 10 Freeway had to be closed for about 30-minutes while firefighters battled the blaze.
Air and ground crews appeared to have gained the upper hand on the fire as of 1:30 p.m.
Officials say the fire burned 20-acres, but no structures were damaged and no evacuations are in effect.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
