Two people died after a small plane crashed into a San Diego home Saturday afternoon, KTLA sister station KSWB reported.

The plane hit a home on the 6000 block of Chandler Drive in San Diego’s Clairemont neighborhood, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department said in a Twitter post.

The house burst into flames, according to KSWB.

An emergency responder who was not on the scene told KSWB that the plane was carrying four individuals. Two of them died and the two others were injured and transported to a hospital, the emergency responder said.

Authorities said people weren’t home when the crash happened, but a pet dog was killed, according to KSWB.
