SoCal communities come together to mark Juneteenth after U.S. recognizes it as a holiday

Juneteenth marks an important milestone in American history that commemorates the end of slavery in the U.S. and was recently declared as a federal holiday by President Joe Biden.

Some, however, might not know what the holiday celebrates. Community members in the Southland are working to change that.
