CARSON, Calif. (KTLA) — A local group called Justice For Murdered Children is paying tribute to crime victims, including those killed in the Boston Marathon Bombings.

The non-profit organization held a roundtable pancake breakfast and fundraiser Saturday in Carson, where 250 pictures of murdered crime victims were displayed to bring attention to innocent lives lost to violence.

Among those scheduled to attend were California State Senator Roderick Wright (D-Inglewood), Los Angeles City Councilman Joe Buscaino and Carson Mayor Jim Dear, as well as the families and friends of murdered victims.

Justice for Murdered Children is a non-profit group dedicated to reducing the number of homicides in the United States.  The organization also assists victims’ families through counseling and helping with burial expenses.
