Suspects Sought After Man Badly Beaten by Skateboarders at Santa Clarita Park

Sheriff`s deputies were looking for witnesses Thursday to the beating of a 30-year-old man that occurred in the parking lot of the Santa Clarita Skate Park on May 5.

The victim, identified only as Jacob, told investigators that he was lost and walked up to a group of people to ask for directions, according to a news release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

During the conversation, the victim was attacked, the release stated.

Jacob was struck in the head and face multiple times by assailant(s) wielding skateboards, investigators said.

He suffered a fractured jaw, requiring multiple surgeries, the release stated.

There were several people present who witnessed the assault.
