A 2-year-old recently died after being found unresponsive in a Coto de Catza home’s swimming pool, according to the Orange County coroner’s office.
Lucia Ulrich, who would have turned 3 in July, was discovered on Seacliff (map) around 5:30 p.m. Monday, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department stated online.
She was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission Viejo, where she was pronounced dead at 6:35 p.m.
Additional details were not immediately made available.
Editor’s note: The coroner’s office stated the home was located in Trabuco Canyon, but Google Maps appeared to show it was in fact in nearby Coto de Catza – located in eastern Orange County.
