A Glendale man was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly sexually assaulting his 23-year-old Uber driver, according to the Glendale Police Department.

The driver picked up Sevada Bandari, 30, around 2 a.m. near Moorpark Street and Van Nuys Boulevard in Studio City.

During the ride to a residence in Glendale, Bandari allegedly began groping his driver multiple times over her clothing, police said. The victim told him to stop but he allegedly continued to assault her, according to authorities.

The driver called 911 once they arrived at their destination in the 1300 block of Irving Avenue in Glendale.  Authorities found Bandari at a small house party and arrested him on suspicion of sexual battery.

Bandari posted bail and is expected to appear in court in January 2017.

Anyone with additional information about this incident is asked to call the Glendale Police Department at 818-548-4911.
