Man Fatally Shot After Allegedly Ramming Vehicle in North Hollywood

A man was shot and killed in North Hollywood Thursday morning after allegedly driving into another vehicle several times, police said.

The shooting was reported to police just after 6 a.m. and took place in the 7300 block of Fulton Avenue (map), according to Lt. McNeill Gardner of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim apparently rammed into the alleged shooter’s vehicle repeatedly before being shot, Officer Rosario Herrera of the Los Angeles Police Department said.

The victim died at the scene, Gardner said. There was no word on the age or identity of the victim.

One man was taken into custody along with the firearm believed to have been used in the shooting, according to Gardner.

The relationship between the men and what may have led up to the incident was under investigation, Gardner said.
