BREA – A handful of high-end luxury cars are still missing from a Brea car dealership, after brazen thieves stole 13 vehicles on Friday morning (Jan. 18).

Officers responded to calls of suspicious activity at California Car Company at 601 S. Brea Blvd., around 7 a.m. Friday.

Police have recovered seven of 13 cars stolen from a dealership Friday and have arrested one suspect, according to the Orange County Register.  Six of the cars were found parked in local neighborhoods.

Investigators suspect that cars had been taken by accessing the keys from inside the dealership.

The retrieved cars include a Mercedes-Benz CL600, a Hyundai Genesis, a silver BMW 745, a Mercedes-Benz 5LK, and a Bentley.

One additional vehicle — a BMW M3 — was recovered by Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department officers Friday afternoon after a triggered LoJack security device prompted officers to stop the car.

Police arrested a woman in that car, but a man escaped.

Six additional vehicles have yet to be recovered, including a 2007 black Maserati, a 2009 black Mustang, a 2008 red Mustang, a 2008 silver Mercedes-Benz E350, a black 2004 Nissan 350Z, and a gold Audi A4.
