Modem Rental Fees Up, BMW Launches All Electric i3, PriceBlink Saves Money

Time Warner is raising it’s monthly modem rental fee to $6, up from $4. You can get around it by buying your modem instead of leasing, but it will take about 22 months to recoup the cost, and if your modem breaks you are responsible.

BMW is showing off it’s brand new all electric i3 car. It will cost about $42,000 and go up to 100 miles on a charge. It should go on sale in 2014.

For the first time ever, Zagat ratings are free and you don’t need to log in to access them. There are also new apps for iPhone and Android.
