An “active” meth lab was uncovered inside an Indiana Wal-Mart bathroom Thursday night, according to report.

Wal-Mart employees initially discovered a suspicious backpack in the men’s restroom and called police around 11:30 p.m., KTLA sister station WXIN reported.

The backpack contained an active meth lab, police told the television station.

Investigators dismantled the lab and removed the chemicals from the store.

The men’s and women’s bathroom were closed so each could be thoroughly decontaminated. Only after the decontamination process was complete would they be reopened to customers.

Investigators were working to identify the person who left the backpack inside the Wal-Mart bathroom, WXIN reported.
