A Georgia teenager’s act of kindness at a Dollar General has gained a lot of attention after it was documented in a Facebook post.
Connie Belle Jenkins Sweet on Monday detailed her 17-year-old nephew helping an elderly woman at the store in Griffin, Georgia, in a Spalding County Facebook group.
Sweet said she was picking up cleaning supplies when her nephew, Senquavious Driver, noticed the 81-year-old woman struggling to get out of her car. At that point, Driver got out of the car to assist her.
“He helped her in the store and shopped with her and he walked her back out to her car,” Sweet told Atlanta-area television station WAGA. “She was only going in for a soda, but she barely could even get in the store.”

The woman, who was thankful for the help, had recently fallen and injured her back and face.
