LOS ANGELES — Where’s the best place to find love? A new study says you might want to head to your local Walmart.

According to a study in Psychology Today magazine, Walmart is the most popular spot for “missed connections” posts on was true for 15 states, from West Virginia to Texas in the south and Idaho in the north.

In New York, New Jersey and Washington, D.C., people meet on commuter rails or the subway.

In California, 24-Hour Fitness is the place to make a connection. And in Hawaii, it’s the beach, and in Nevada, it’s the casinos.

The researchers also found that age also plays a role.

The most common place for missed connections for 20-somethings was an ice cream store.

At 30, it was a bar, and for people over 40, it was a strip club or adult bookstore.
