A Tennessee woman was enjoying a plate of fried oysters for lunch recently when she bit into one and ended up finding 51 tiny pearls inside, according to reports.

Toni Elliott made the surprising discovery while dining at Puckett’s Boat House in Franklin, local television station WKRN reported.

The 53-year-old woman alerted her server after she thought she hurt a tooth biting into something, according to ABC News.

“The manager of the restaurant came over and said, ‘I hear you got a pearl in your oyster,'” Elliot told WKRN.

Greg Hergest, the restaurant’s manger, recalled going over to Elliot to make sure she was OK.

“She goes, ‘Oh yes, I just found this pearl in my mouth!'” Hergest told the network. “She started pulling out more pearls from her mouth, and the whole table started laughing.”

By the time she finished counting her treasure, she had 51 pearls, all from the same oyster, according to WKRN.

The restaurant cleaned them and packed the pearls up in a cup for her.

“It was her oyster, so they’re her pearls,” Hergest said. “It’s like winning the lottery. She was so excited to have them.”

While Elliott said she wasn’t sure how much the pearls are worth, she said she was planning on keeping them.
