LONG BEACH, Calif. (KTLA) — The Aquarium of the Pacific on Tuesday was offering a first look at its two newest additions — a pair of penguin chicks.

Penguin chicks hatch at the Aquarium of the Pacific.

The two Magellanic Penguins hatched to first-time parents Floyd and Roxy, residents of the Aquarium’s June Keyes Penguin Habitat.

The 1-month-old chicks were being cared for behind the scenes, according to the Aquarium.

They were expected to be put on public view when they join the penguin habitat later this summer.

In the meantime, the chicks can be seen via webcam on the Aquarium of the Pacific’s website.
