ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. — Two plumbers were carjacked and shot during a shooting rampage in Orange County Tuesday.

26-year-old Jeremy Lewis of Fullerton was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second victim, identified as Shane, was transported to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

The suspect shot the two men during a carjacking in the parking lot of a Micro Center electronics store.

“It’s just heart-wrenching to look across the street and see what I see now. It’s bad. It’s really bad,” said a man who worked with the victims.

the coworker said employees would park at the lot and walk across the street to work.

He said the victims were “just two good honest guys. They were just trying to make a living you know. Things happen so quick. You know, one minute we’re sitting on the tailgate, the next minute tragedy happens.”

Shane was shot in the shoulder and friends say he may be back to work tomorrow.
