ARCADIA, Calif. (KTLA) – Police responding to a loud music call at a home in Arcadia on Sunday made a huge marijuana bust.

It happened at a house in the 2500 block of Santa Anita Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a man on the lawn, who said the home belonged to a friend. That man led officers inside the house.

That’s when authorities say they smelled marijuana. They secured the residence and obtained a search warrant.

The house was set up as a sophisticated indoor grow operation with lighting and an irrigation system.

Police say there were more than 500 plants in the four-bedroom home.

30-year-old Chuan Pang was arrested on felony charges of cultivation of marijuana.
