Authorities launched an investigation in Venice Beach after a woman’s body washed ashore early Tuesday.
The body was found around 5:50 a.m. in the 1800 block of Ocean Front Walk, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The woman was believed to be between the ages of 30 and 35. She was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
