LONG BEACH, Calif. (KTLA) — A suspect is in custody after a police pursuit that ended at the Long Beach Airport Wednesday night.

There were no flights leaving and departing at the time, so police shut down the airport.

Police say the chase began just after 9 p.m. in the 700 block of East Shoreline Drive.

It moved along surface streets and freeways before the driver pulled in front of the airport terminal.

The man was eventually tasered and taken into custody.
