Roommate’s Body Found in Santa Ana Apartment; Death Ruled ‘Suspicious’

Santa Ana homicide detectives were investigating after residents of an apartment found their roommate dead early Wednesday, police said.

Officers responded around 1:20 a.m. to an apartment complex in the 1300 block of North Harbor Boulevard (map) after the body was discovered, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.

Homicide detectives were later called out to the scene because of the “suspicious circumstances” of the death, a news release from Santa Ana police stated.

An investigation into the death continued Wednesday morning, according to the release. Investigators have not yet determined if foul play was involved.

The person’s identity has not yet been released.
