A new app called Adent Health uses your smartphone to take pictures of your teeth and analyses them for potential issues using artificial intelligence.

The app gives users personalized recommendations on how to keep their teeth healthy. It also looks for signs of conditions including gingivitis and tooth decay.

The startup is based in Denmark, the founder says he worked with dentists for more than 40,000 hours on the algorithm and that early action is best for a healthy mouth.
