UCLA Student Fights Off Campus Attacker

WESTWOOD, Calif. — Police are searching for a man who tried to sexually assault a UCLA student on campus early Monday morning.

Police say the student was walking between Parking Structure 9 and Engineering IV around 1:30 a.m. when a man grabbed her from behind.

The victim told police that the man told her he intended to sexually assault her and tried to pull her to the ground.

The woman was able to break free and run away. Her assailant also fled the area.
