On the streets of South Los Angeles, the suspect behind the wheel of a stolen white cargo van had no regard for anyone in his path.

After missing several vehicles with an out of control turn at one intersection, the suspect squeezed the thru another on the westbound 10 he squeezed past a school bus

“He showed disregard for public safety,” said Al Lopez, LAPD.

“We came outside when we heard the crash,” said witness Diana Lopez.

Moments after burning rubber down Lopez’s street the white van slammed into an SUV at Washington Blvd., but again the suspect eluded capture.

The driver of the black SUV was taken to a hospital.

After plowing thru two cars at Jefferson and Vermont, and forcing his way out of another jam on Exposition Blvd. the LAPD flattened the vans tires with spike strips.

That caused a right hand turn into a curb, but another escape.

Minutes later at 43rd and Vermont, the suspect tried to make a run for it.
