blogpicStrong winds aloft combined with surface high pressure to the north will bring gusty winds to parts of the region through Friday morning. The strongest winds will be through and below the passes and canyons of southern Santa Barbara County, the Interstate 5 corridor portion of the Los Angeles and Ventura County mountains. Gusty winds will also affect some of the valleys of Los Angeles County as well as the Santa Monica mountains. These winds will persist through late this evening before diminishing and turning northeast after midnight. For the Santa Barbara County south coast and mountains, the winds are expected to continue into Friday morning before diminishing. Click to enlarge and read the image.
