Multiple families were forced to evacuate their homes in the Fairfax District of Los Angeles after an intense fire ripped through a parking garage and destroyed two vehicles. The blaze took place around 2 a.m. Saturday morning in the 400 block of North Curson Avenue and follows a series of other arsons in the Fairfax District that have left residents on edge. Las Vegas police body cam footage of a green flash across the sky is adding intrigue to a 911 call from a family claiming to see “non-human” beings after something crashed in their backyard.
On April 30 around 11:50 p.m., a Las Vegas Metro police officer’s body camera video recorded as something streaked low across the sky. Several people across eastern California, Nevada and Utah reported seeing the flash, according to the American Meteor Society.
Sources tell Nexstar’s KLAS that it is likely something crashed into the yard, but exactly what remains unclear more than a month later. Drone video showed a circular imprint in the dirt.

Residents in a Hollywood Hills neighborhood are on edge after a man has been caught on video trespassing in the yards of people's homes.
Residents said videos caught on doorbell cameras show the man acting erratically, and they are concerned he might be dangerous. He has been knocking on doors at all hours of the day and night, yelling obscenities and even engaging in lewd behavior, neighbors tell KTLA.

Donald Trump has been charged with 37 counts in relation to the mishandling of records at Mar-a-Lago as well as his efforts to block the government from recovering the documents.
An indictment unsealed by the Justice Department Friday underscores the high-level material the former president kept after leaving office, the times he improperly shared it with those without clearances and the extent he sought to block any efforts to retrieve them.
The filing indicates Trump weighed a number of methods to avoid returning them, asking his attorney to “hide or destroy” the documents in his possession following a June subpoena last year.

Police are investigating after a series of fires targeting vehicles and property in the Fairfax district have left residents distraught and on edge.
The arsonist’s most recent victim was a classic Ford pickup truck on South Orange Drive where a completely charred and destroyed chassis is all that remains after being set on fire.
Arson investigators with the Los Angeles Fire Department want to catch the suspect or suspects responsible as quickly as possible. The LAFD’s arson unit is investigating a number of cases in the Fairfax District in recent weeks, with the crimes ranging from setting garbage on fire to burning discarded furniture and vehicles along with apartment complex gates and doors.
