The California legislature has approved a bill for a five year pilot program that would implement speeding ticket cameras for large metropolitan areas. Assembly bill 645 will penalize speeders when caught on camera with tickets in the mail ranging from $50 to $500 dollars, depending on the speed of the infraction.
