The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a missing 13-year-old girl from Pico Rivera after she was last seen leaving her residence on Thursday.
Annahi Tejeda was last seen on March 22 at around 11:50 p.m. in the 8900 block of Gallatin Road near Rosemead Boulevard in Pico Rivera. Soon after, surveillance video showed her walking in the area of Beverly Boulevard and Poplar Avenue in Montebello.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department has identified the two people who died Friday in a helicopter crash near Perris.
Two Murrieta men, 61-year-old Mark Carter and 62-year-old Dennis Foster, were aboard the Bell 407 helicopter when it crashed at 12:22 p.m. near Pulsar View Road in Nuevo, just east of Perris. Though the investigation of the crash has not yet been completed and the cause of the crash remains unknown

A fundraiser was held on Saturday to help the Monterey Park community heal and rebuild following the mass shooting that left 11 people dead on Jan. 21.
It’s been a difficult and traumatizing few months following the deadly shooting at the Star Ballroom Dance Studio for both residents and Monterey Park authorities.
A barbeque fundraiser held by the Monterey Park Fire Department at the Barnes Park Service Clubhouse hopes to raise funds to help those most affected by the deadly shooting.

A tentative deal was reached Friday to end a labor dispute involving the Los Angeles Unified School District and tens of thousands of union workers who staged a three-day strike this week, the district announced.
The historic deal includes a 30% pay increase that Local 99 of Service Employees International Union (SEIU) had been seeking and a vast expansion of benefits including paid healthcare, retroactive pay, a minimum wage increase to $22.52 an hour and more.

During a visit to Yolo County on Friday, Governor Gavin Newsom announced changes to the state’s drought restrictions and water conservation plans after multiple winter storms over several months have soaked the state, but stopped short of lifting the state drought emergency.
Newsom said that in spite of the questions about if the drought is over, “it continues to be complicated.”
“It would be nice to have a governor say the drought is over,” Newsom said. “Unfortunately, the complication requires nuance.”

Security video captures a thief breaking into a Sherman Oaks dental office and stealing hundreds of files containing patients' personal information on Thursday.
The break-in happened at Riverside Dental located on the 12900 block of Riverside Drive just after 3 a.m.
Surveillance cameras captured the thief entering the office through a broken back window. As he finds the room where medical records are stored on a shelf, he’s seen quickly grabbing large piles of folders and stuffing them into a bag. The entire theft happened in a matter of minutes.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is looking for two men accused of killing a rideshare driver and taking his vehicle in Lynwood early Friday.
The Uber driver was shot in the upper torso around 1:30 a.m. in the 2800 block of Imperial Highway, the LASD said in a news release. His wife identified him as 38-year-old Marine veteran Aaron Orozco, a father of two young children.
