A  strong ridge of high pressure will slide into the southwest by Wednesday. High temperatures exceeding 100 degrees are likely over the coastal valleys and the lower mountains. Record high temperatures could impact the interior valleys, like the Antelope Valley.

The coast will be a little tricky to forecast because of the marine layer.
